Theory of Repetition

Repetition is an integral part of the absurdist philosophy. Beckett’s characters in “Waiting for Godot” are stuck in the same routine, repeating the same actions for what seems like forever.
Another example of such would be Sisyphus, and yet another would be my work wherein the exhaustively recurring dots are metaphoric for the same, for what I call ‘The theory of repetition’.
The spaces that I’ve created within, seem to start from anywhere, end nowhere making them labyrinthal and unnecessary.
The geometric periphery of the work posits a coldness, an infertility, as opposed to the sensuousness that could be rendered by an organic or an indefinite form.
